Our goal is to publish books that (1) critically examine our sports culture, (2) inform the public about the major problems that undermine athletics, and (3) offer solutions to those problems by advancing reform proposals.

The overriding mission of our books is (1) to help preprofessional athletes to enjoy their educational and sports experiences more fully and (2) to guide parents of athletes through a complex and often exploitive sports culture that can undermine the true meaning of athletics.
